The Gas Tank Is Full!!
Great job by all teams that participated in the Spring EOS Golden Lunchbox tournament. I don't think we could have asked for a better day of weather as witness to the 25-30 people that stuck around after the tournament to enjoy a great day and hang out at the park a bit longer. Among them were GL champions Got Gas? who remarkably only allowed 1 run on defense all tournament long. When you say defense wins championships, I guess it speaks volumes. hard to lose when you only allow 1 run in all tournament. Incredible. Hats off to the SuperDudes as well for making another great run only to fall a tad short in the final 1-0, but they did claim the Silver Thermos, so another great season for them.
We do want to say thanks for all the hard work the umps and field monitors put in each season to make this league run as well as it does. Great job everyone and we hope to see you in the fall!! See below for the completed bracket with scores.

Summer 2009 enrollment is now CLOSED!!
Sorry folks but the enrollment is closed for summer kickball. We have a limited number of spots and they are already filled before we reached the deadline. If your team didn't get in, please remember we seldom turn teams away for our fall season which enrollment will begin early July.

Walk off to win it all...
The scene was set. Monday March 16th, Milwaukee County Sports Complex. The four teams making the playoffs for the Arena championship and to find out who is king of the arena. Two teams from Tuesdays, Kick In a Box, Oral Standards and two from Thursdays, The Legion and Blue Balls. The Legion was promptly dispatched from the tournament 9-6 at the hands of KIAB. The score wasn't that close when Blue Balls took down Oral Standards 16-2 setting up the final. KIAB took an early lead by 3 and maintained it for a majority of the game until late when Blue Balls tied it up at 5. Both teams battled back and forth with great defense in extra innings until the fateful pitch from the Blue Balls pitcher. Once released he knew he was in trouble given who was up to kick. Without hesitation Brian Wilmet sent a bomb out to center that was no doubt the winning walk off home run and giving Kick In the Box the 2009 Arena title.
Congrats to all playoff teams for great seasons!!

Fall EOS has Fantastic Day!!
Well, the Fall 2008 season is in the books and I think we can all agree it was one for the ages. Not only was the season a great success, but the EOS was as well, with teams from Minnesota, Madison, Port Washington, Chicago and Little Rock all making the trip to our little tournament. Congrats goes to all teams but especially SuperDudes for winning the Golden Lunchbox and the Spankers for taking home the runner-up prize, the Silver Thermos. Great game to watch as were plenty of other games throughout the day making it fantastic day of kickball.
A special thanks goes to all who help make the tournament and Bash what it is. Umps, decorators, lunch getters, etc all get special thanks. We look forward to seeing you at other great MUSA events and the 2009 spring kickball season.

Octoberfest Tournament Crowns 2 Champs !!
Vandelay Industries
Octoberfest EOS Bid Winners
Tap That Ass
Vandelay Industries
Octoberfest "fun" Winners
Kicking Sea Pigs
For the first time in MUSA history, MUSA held 2 different tournaments at the same time. On what was nothing short of perfect weather, 11 teams took to the fields in New Berlin at Players Park. One tournament was open to any and all teams looking for an EOS bid. Tap That Ass came out of the losers bracket to defeat the Bad Boyz to take home the title and a automatic bid to the EOS Tournament on November 1st.
The "fun" tournament was designed for teams with shall we say, less experience on the kickball field. It gave teams a chance to compete with teams on the same level with oddball rules such as, running the bases opposite way, everyone kicking off the tee. Innings were even played with a beach ball which made things interesting. The dreaded spinney bat innings made for a long day. We'll be sure to bring this back in the spring because talking with teams everyone had a great time. Thanks to all the team that played in both tournaments and hope everyone had a great time.

Summer Season Comes to an End!!
Once again MUSA was blessed with beautiful weather for the Summer EOS tournament in New Berlin. It also saw a few new faces and teams claiming bids to the tournament for the first time. Newcomers Cyberpt.com, Your MoM and Bear Balls all saw their first action on EOS day. However, no one could outlast the offense and defense of the SuperDudes who made it to the EOS finals for the second season in a row. unlike the Spring tournament, the Dudes were victorious, this time over rival Sock It 2 Me. Sock it 2 Me gave them a scare in the semi final game but they came back to send the Socks to the losers bracket. There the Socks squashed the hopes of Liver Damage to bring them back to the championship game. This time the SuperDudes did not give the Socks a head start and scored early and often and won going away. Congrats to all teams for making the EOS tournament and we hope to see you back in future seasons!!
